Not Forgotten

This was my first album (2000), produced by Lloyd Peterson and engineered by Neil Cameron at Private Ear Recording Studio in Winnipeg, MB. I was planning on recording gospel songs, but Lloyd encouraged me to write my own, and I never looked back. The songs are rough, but they have a purity, and they did capture something honest from my life at the time. One of the songs went on to win an international songwriting award (Daughter) which encouraged me to keep writing. I've never posted the record for download because I always felt a bit ashamed that my first offering wasn't somehow "more". But I've since come to realize that it is what it was: a musical snapshot of mine at the time. However much I've grown since then, it has an innocence that, in my estimation, is worth a listen.
